As a pet owner, Julie and her husband found that going on vacation was not only expensive, but also extremely stressful. They knew there had to be a better way to ensure that their pets and their home were safe and secure while they were away. Julie tried house sitters and boarding kennels, but they were too expensive. She decided to start Julie's Critter Sitters to assist families with their pets and cater to their individual needs. As the wife of a Police Officer, Julie understands the risks of leaving your home behind for extended periods of time and incoporated services into her business plan to help minimize those risks and ensure the home owner's peace of mind. By using an in home pet sitter, you can minimize this stress and ensure that your pet and your house are safe during your time away from them. We provide services for many commuters in our service area. Many of our clients work in Baltimore or Washington D.C. and their pets are left at their houses during the day. Sometimes these days are long and stressful for their pets. We offer a mid day visit to allow your pet to be exercised and ensure that they are let outside and fed while your at work. Why use Julie's Critter Sitters? Peace of mind. Your best friend stays in their own home where they are most comfortable Your pet is not exposed to common communicable diseases found in kennels. No additional vaccinations needed. Your pet is fed with his/her own food and treats. Your pet is exercised during each visit. Special needs pets and pets with medications are cared for per your instructions. While you are away, we will be checking on your home to ensure that everything is fine. We change the lighting in the residence daily to make it look like someone is actually home. We will water plants, get mail, and get your paper in order to minimize the appearance that you are away
